I predicted all the ppl who'd get kicked out! Man am I psychic or what?
On hindsight, kinda feel sorry for those gals and dudes that got kicked out, esp after seeing them all in tears. Esp the gals. Wrong song choices (F6) and goodness-knows what (F3, come to think of it, why the hell did she get kicked out?) Sugianto was kinda given, and M4 Darryl... kinda wasted lar (think he has the charm... looks kinda like Andy Hui, much better than Energy...)
I'm prob gonna get kicked in the arse for saying this but, felt M4 shld haf been given the chance to proceed. Weilian has a fantastic voice I'd definitely agree. Heck I wish they'd gif him a record deal ala 欧得洋. Realistically speaking, I dun think people will eventually vote for him as a superstar (I know I would coz I always vote based on voice alone), and sooner or later, the sympathy votes would juz dry up, and in retrospect, kinda have robbed another aspiring singer the chance to proceed. (Den again, M4's singing wasn't that fantastic, won't know if he would haf lasted, but one wk could haf made a difference.)
Pls for Weilian's sake, DUN VOTE FOR HIM OUT OF SYMPATHY. I personally feel this to be extremely offensive. It's in fact sacriligeous and insults the very sanctity of his existence. Support him if u think he's a superstar to u. But I beg of you, don't vote him becoz u pity him.
Because, if you do so, I pity u.

You echo my sentiments exactly on voting for Weilian. However, I think he does have a high chance at winning the competition because he's already very well-known (as proven by the fact that everyone already refers to him by name, instead of his no. The only other person you referred to by name has been kicked out, ie Darryl.). Besides, he has illustrious predecessors like Jose Carreras, Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles.
Wow we're actually having a superstar discussion! And actually I've only watched one episode so far! I shall rely on you for further updates =P

No comments, other than the fact tt i act VOTED for Weilian!!! Yes, as in i act voted, though it costs 60 cents per sms/call, n i normally wldn't do such a ting!! I didn't even vote (or even if i did, during the Finals only?) for S'pore IDOL!!!
My VH vol just told me sth tt i didn't like to hear, n tt is Weilian smokes!!! Yikes! Dun noe how true it is though, cos he supposedly 'smokes alot'.
