Uber delayed post...

Ugh been bogged down by some annoying projects and deadlines which YES!!! I've finally managed to clear... at least for the moment. Finally knows what's it like to have that axe hover juz barely millimeters from my neck. And not juz regarding trivial "school homework".

Den again, the prospects of having a barely done paper hanging over me for the next half yr likely, is not really gonna be fun. Plus the ppl at MRO actually called me up to check wat I was doing being holed up in the god-forsaken pits of h3!!.

Derm posting kinda bit of shock from the slacker days in ID. (but even then, had to deal wif deadlines like the dumb ethics report.) M5 life seems to be going downhill from here. Praying that no more nonsense like seminars and that doing an weird posting at this time (like 34 wks to MBBS) is an okay move.

Esp since I'd probably won't be reading much up on #$% at all even if i do that elective.

Always believed donations given without allure of cash and prizes were truer to the heart. Well eat your hearts out ppl who believed every single cent of what they donated to NKF could win them that dream car or apartment and STILL AT THE SAME TIME BE DONATED IN FULL SUM TO THE NEEDY PPL REQUIRING DIALYSIS or at least building up the foundation.

Not, building a building for the foundation. Esp wif those hotly contended bathroom deco and accessories which would probably be much more suited in some exotic island resort belonging to the UAE. Definitely not to build, with the aid of public funds, a spanking nice toilet used only by the upper echelons of the oh-so-righteous-we-need-funds-to sustain-ourselves-for-X-years-foundation.

Quoting a man who was interviewed on channel 8, 6:30pm news, (badly, coz i really only haf ultra-short term memory) "We should continue to support the NKF. This matter is only a problem with the management..." or something to that extent.

My my. No wonder our dear Mr Durai is earning ONLY 1.8 million in 3 years, which by the way, some say is peanuts since there's like millions he put in reserves. Wonder how many peanuts we could buy with that kind of cash... Millions maybe?

The thing is, WHY ARE U EVEN DONATING CASH TO AN ORGANISATION THAT ISN'T TRANSPARENT IN HOW THE FUNDS ARE BEING UTILISED?!

HOW THE HELL DO U KNOW WHAT WE ARE DONATING, IN FULL SUM! IS ACTUALLY GOING TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO REALLY NEEDS THEM???

So please, dear sir who I gif a benefit of a doubt of being once again misquoted by media, please think before u implore the public to support the foundation. Think of the sole breadwinner of 4 with an income of $1000 donating $50 (which I shall re-emphasize again, is probably peanuts to some）to a foundation where an unknown propotion is used to fund business class flights, maintain the private-but-hey-we-use-them-for-official-events-like-once-in-a-while pricy cars of the elite and to install gold plated. oh wait chrome taps costing (again) "peanuts".

Please reconsider your !#$%^*(@ statement before u mislead the mislead (like my Aunt, who's probably jabbing at the hottest voodoo doll of the moment... ). Approach other non-profit organisations such as club rainbow or singapore cancer society instead of NKF children's fund or cancer fund, at least for now.
